Each month, we will continue gathering seeds to grow the beautiful community we want to live in, from the inside out. Bring your friends and connect with new people for future projects. The possibilities are endless!!

Climate/Change • Art Exhibition
The Sioux City Art Center's Biennial Exhibition returns this summer. The theme for this year is Climate/Change, and was juried by Elizabeth Gollnick, PhD., Associate Curator at the Des Moines Art Center.
Join us, Thursday, August 1st from 5:00pm-7:00pm at the Sioux City Art Center for complimentary beverages and experience this exciting exhibition for the first time, show casing artwork by some of the region's most ambitious artists.
With a presentation by Dr. Gollnick at 6:00pm.

Earth Day edition!!!
Gallery in the Sky Art Festival
The Gallery in the Sky is bringing Sioux City’s skywalks to life with brand new murals by local artists, art vendors, and a juried art gallery wall on April 1 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm!
Organized by Vangarde Arts, local artists, and Downtown Partners, the Gallery in the Sky Art Festival was created to beautify the city’s indoor “streets” with art, music, and drinks! Inspired by Alley Art Festival, and located directly above, the Gallery in the Sky gives us the opportunity to celebrate and commemorate art all year round. Guests are invited to witness a mural being painted, support small vendors, meet and purchase from local artists, and listen to live music throughout the day!
The event will take place on Saturday, April 1 from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm in the skywalks above 4th Street, 5th Street, Pierce Street, and Nebraska Street.

Get into the spirit of the season with Art SUX. Our last show of the year is Thursday December 15th; 5-8. Come in for holiday cheer, refreshments and some of the best local art.

What’s really cool is the “Ugly Sweater” Artwalk will be happening as well. Start at the Art Center, head to 3Rivers and Gallery 103 and end with us.
